Yep, its another Wednesday

As I sit in my lovely office and look out my lovely window at the lovely parking lot below, I am listening to – get this one- Foreigner warm up to play their concert tonight. My office is located next to a stage that hosts different bands, usually the older ones, and while normally the thump, thump of the bass and the drums as those bands warm up is most annoying. Today- it is not.

Don’t lie! You remember the days of “Feels Like the First Time” and “Double Vision.” I remember jeans so tight you had to lay on the bed to get them zipped, dark eyeliner, permed hair with too much hair spray, cruisin’ with my best friend in her brother’s Duster, jammin’ to “Hot Blooded” and “Cold as Ice” and I just new I was too cool for school! Weren’t those the days! I guess for today I will have to settle for the warm up as my schedule can’t handle much more for today.

So it is back to work I go, in my lovely office, with a window that overlooks the lovely parking lot, that holds my lovely car, that is patiently waiting for me to get my not so lovely butt in it and take it away from here………….. Cheers!
